Missionary Charter Institute (MCI) has a mission to prepare missionaries for various fields at home and abroad. Our hybrid training program is designed to prepare anyone who decides to engage in service.
The program is aligned to three primary Standards through a five course framework. They are:***Biblical Standards ****The: National Health Science Standards (NHSS)*****Standard UK (National Health Service): Health and Social Care.
General courses and foundation skills. Modules include farming, Christian history, basic science and physiology, and, introductory healthcare concepts.
General courses and foundation skills II. Modules include basic science and physiology, and, healthcare concepts for field service.
Practice courses. Modules include: core health science courses that explore the human framework in health and disease, evaluation skills for healthcare mission service, botanical medicine, natural and holistic therapies, medical terminology, and healthcare math.
These modules are designed for trainee self improvement, and target skills for outreach service. Courses include: communication, consultation, health laws, working with others (planning), business and ethics and laws.
These courses are aimed at solidifying trainee skills. Modules include: CAPSTONE presentation, skills demonstration, outreach service, product development, business planning, other practical skills.
